Vittoria Air-Liner MTB

The Vittoria Air-Liner is an insertion accessory made of high quality polymer that occupies a part of the volume of air inside the tire. This feature, combined with its shape, provides a sense of progressive adjustment. It works in combination with the remaining air of the tire, the impacts are absorbed in a very similar way as with a suspension system. This protects both the tire and the wheel, something that the traditional suspension does not do. Air-Liner has been designed with a round cross section, with channels at the top and bottom. The upper channel leaves room for the air that is directly below the tread of the tire. When an impact occurs, the edges of the channel are first bent over the thickest part of the attachment as the tire is compressed. This allows the tread to remain flexible, which increases traction, without losing impact resistance. The lower channel allows easy fine adjustment of the air chamber and is compatible with all valve types.
