- Hold the FlexBar vertically in front of you, with your injured hand on the bottom end, and extend your wrist.
- Grasp the upper end of the bar with your other hand, facing your palm away from you.
- Twist the bar with the top hand as you stabilise with the bottom hand.
- Slowly release the bar with your injured side while maintaining tension with the uninjured side.
Description
The Thera-Band FlexBar is a lightweight, portable exerciser that improves hand grip, forearm/wrist and upper extremity strength and stabilization by bending, twisting, or oscillation movement for neuromuscular and balance training. Theraband FlexBar is a research-proven exercise of tennis elbow, which offers a low-cost treatment that requires no injection or equipment. The exercise strength bar is 12″ long, 1.75″ in diameter, and is made from dry natural rubber and is used in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, sports and fitness. FlexBar is great for athletes, guitarists, painters, fisherman, and others. The Geen Thera-Band FlexBar is medium resistance/stiffness and takes 15 lbs. of force to bend to a u-shape.
