The Shimano Deore XT BL-M8100 brake lever is designed for light weight and cross-country specific braking performance and conveys a lot of security thanks to intuitive modulation. The distance from the starting position of the lever to the contact point of the brake pads can be adjusted to the size of the rider’s hand and his riding style and personal preferences. The brake lever is equipped with a grip width adjustment. This allows the handle to adjust to the size of the rider’s hand or their riding style or personal preferences. The Servowave brake lever absorbs a lot of brake travel at the beginning of its movement, so that the pads can be guided to the brake disc with little lever travel. After the brake pad is applied, the force ratio increases rapidly. The greater part of the lever travel is thus still available to increase the braking force and to dose it in a more targeted manner.
