Choosing the Right Size The seat posts are smaller in diameter than the stated size to ensure you get the right fit the first time. The diameter listed is for the frame seat post opening, for example 25.4mm. The seat post will actually measure smaller (about 25.0mm-25.2mm) so that it will fit into the 25.4mm opening of your bike frame.
