Totem cams are the cams you want on your rack when you are forced to make a blind placement. Totem Cams equalise the load across all four lobes thanks to a patented design to eliminate the risk of inactive lobes that might compromise the stability of your placements. They feature a more narrow headwidth than other cams on the market making them a top choice for use in pockets and shallow cracks. You will notice that the trigger wire attachments are connected directly into the lobes for control and easy handling. Its body also extremely flexible and the nature of the construction makes the Totem Cam less likely to walk. A key piece of innovation that Totem Cam has engineered that it cam be placed with only 2 lobes under load, this does require you to clip it into the sling attachment point closest to the placement. Using the cams like this will significantly reduce stability and only recommended for use in aid climbing.For some bomber placements and a boost in confidence, Totem Cams can make all the difference.
