Harking back to Yvon Chouinard’s original curved-pick mountain axe, Black Diamond’s Raven ice axe is a classic piolet for traditional winter walks and alpine climbs. This is a refined axe made in aircraft-grade aluminium with a trapezoidal cross-section for a better grip. Up top, the investment-cast, stainless steel head has beautifully curved edges to ensure comfort while walking. At the base, a revamped spike adds bite in icy conditions.
