Resting on the sturdy cooking platform, the pot, perforated steamer basket and pot lid are all constructed of stainless steel. On the interior of the pot there’s an indented ridge that keeps the perforated steam basket suspended 3″ over the bottom of the pot, making a perfect platform for steaming. Heat is provided by propane (tank not included. A 10-psi high pressure regulator, brass, controls the 4 inch Cast Aluminum Burner. This burner is wind-protected on all sides. Propane reaches the burner through the 48-inch hose (included); the hose is stainless steel reinforced. This long hose permits you to place the propane tank safely away from the burner.
