This telescopic design not only means the poles length adjustable so it can best suit your riding style, but it also means the size of the poles can be minimised so they are easier to transport and carry.The upper section of the pole made from an especially resistant 7075 aluminium alloy, 18mm in diameter. The lower section of the Duos Freebird crafted from a stiff, light, composite carbon that offers great resistance to impact and use.The power lock system which locks the two segments together has been tested in extreme conditions and keeps the poles strong but still light. Their overall vertical strength has been tested to over 100kg so these poles will stay intact no matter what you or the mountain can hurl at themA long grip means grasping the poles comfortable, and to give extra support and prevent them from slipping away, an ergonomic wrist strap has been added.
