Black Diamond Access Spike Traction Device

Black Diamond built the Access Spike traction device for all-round trail performance. A workhorse piece, it can be used for running and walking alike. Featuring 14 stainless steel spikes that are heat-treated for durability, they bite into the ground, increasing grip on snow and ice and enhancing stability on rocky terrain. A durable elastomer harness hugs the shoe, with a heel webbing loop that aids donning.These are not crampons. They are not designed for mountaineering, winter hill walking or any steep terrain where proper crampons are required.
