If your frame doesn’t accommodate direct-mount chainrings, or you simply prefer a four-bolt design, this chainring’s four-bolt construction still enables you to upgrade to Eagle. With narrower teeth specifically shaped to accommodate the 12-speed Eagle chain, X-Sync 2’s teeth look distinctively more shark-like than the boxier teeth of the original. This aggressive profile holds your precious chain firmly in place so it can smoothly glide onto the cassette, and it mimics the impressive wear profile of the original X-Sync, promoting longevity and preventing chain suck over time.
